Abstract
Calculation of Farmer Exchange Rates using the 2012 base year = 100 where in October 2018 the Food Crop Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPP) was recorded at 116.31; Horticultural Farmers Exchange Value (NTPH) 78.87; Exchange Rate of Community Plantation Planters (NTPR) 94.94; Livestock Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPT) 128.36 and Fisheries Farmer Exchange Rate (NTNP) 110.59. The Fisheries Farmers' Exchange Rate (NTNP), broken down into Capture Fisheries NTP (NTN), was recorded at 120.85 and the Cultivation Fisheries NTP (NTPi) was 94.07. In combination, the NTB Province's Farmer Exchange Rate amounted to 110.83, which means that the October 2018 NTP had increased by 0.98 percent compared to September 2018 with a Farmer Exchange Rate of 109.76 percent.
The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in October 2018 was 118.80 or increased by 0.41 percent compared to September 2018 of 118.31 percent. Most NTUP is worth above 100 except for the horticulture sub-sector which is only 87.69 percent. NTUP other sub-sectors respectively as follows: Animal Husbandry (139.95); Food Crops (120.75); Fisheries (120.43); and Community Plantation Plants (104,65).
Of the 33 provinces reported in October 2018, there were 19 provinces that experienced an increase in NTP and 14 provinces experienced a decline in NTP. The highest increase occurred in Babel Province, which amounted to 1.56 percent, while the highest decrease in NTP occurred in Riau Province, which was equal to (1.46) percent
In October 2018, there was deflation in rural areas in West Nusa Tenggara Province by (0.39) percent. Deflation is caused by a decrease in the Household Consumption Index (SCE) in the expenditure group, namely the Foodstuff Group (1.26) percen
