Abstract
In November 2018, West Nusa Tenggara experienced inflation of 0.34 percent, or an increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 132.72 in October 2018 to 133.17 in November 2018. This inflation rate is above the inflation rate nationally recorded at 0.27 percent.
For the West Nusa Tenggara region, Mataram City experienced inflation of 0.35 percent and the City of Bima experienced inflation of 0.31 percent. Inflation of West Nusa Tenggara in November 2018 by 0.34 percent occurred due to price increases as indicated by the increase in the index in the Group Transport, Communication & Financial Services at 1.02 percent; Prepared Food, Beverages, Cigarettes & Tobacco Group of 0.33 percent; Housing, Water, Electricity, Gas & Fuel Group by 0.26 percent; Foodstuffs Group of 0.16 percent; Clothing Group by 0.08 percent; Health Group by 0.06 percent; Education, Recreation & Sports Group by 0.04 percent.
The inflation rate of West Nusa Tenggara for the November 2018 calendar year was 2.53 percent lower than the November 2017 calendar year inflation of 2.83 percent. While the inflation rate of "year-on-year" November 2018 is 3.40 percent lower than the inflation rate of "year to year" in November 2017 of 3.48 percent.
