Abstract
Star Hotel Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) in October 2018 has increased compared to September 2018. October 2018 TPK is 39.21 percent, while star hotel TPK in September 2018 is only 34.85 percent, this means an increase of 4, 36 points. When compared to star hotels' ROR in October 2017, 49.85 percent means a decrease of 10.64 points.
The average length of stay (RLM) of star hotel guests in October 2018 was 2.52 days. This has increased by 0.12 days compared to the September 2018 RLM of 2.40 days. The number of guests staying at star hotels in October 2018 was 42,460 people consisting of 34,175 domestic guests (80.50 percent) and 8,285 foreign guests (19.50 percent).
Non-Star Hotel TPK in October 2018 was only 21.48 percent, which increased by 1.57 points compared to September 2018 with TPK of 19.91 percent. When compared with October 2017 it still decreased by 3.86 points from 25.34 percent. The average length of stay (RLM) of guests in Non-Star Hotels in October 2018 was 1.59 days, an increase of 0.15 days compared to the RLM in September 2018 of 1.44 days.
