NTB, August 2018: TPK star hotels amounted to 28.18 percent

Room occupancy rate (TPK) in August 2018 decreased compared to June 2018. The TPK for August 2018 was only 28.18 percent, while the star hotel TPK in June 2018 reached 46.56 percent, this means a decrease of 18 , 36 points. When compared to the star hotel TPK in August 2017 of 54.99 percent, it means experiencing a significant decline reaching 30.61 points.

The average length of stay (RLM) of star hotel guests in August 2018 recorded 2.64 days. This decreased by 0.63 days compared to the June 2018 RLM of 2.01 days.

The number of guests staying at star hotels in August 2018 was only 36,831 people consisting of 27,511 domestic guests (74.69 percent) and 9,331 foreign guests (25.31 percent).

TPK of Non Bintang Hotels in August 2018 only amounted to 16.48 percent decreased by 11.72 points compared to June 2018 with TPK at 28.20 percent. Compared to August 2017 also decreased by 10.93 points from 27.41 percent.

The average length of stay (RLM) of guests in Non Star Hotels in August 2018 amounted to 1.57 days, a decrease of 0.36 days compared to the June 2018 RLM of 1.93.
