Abstract

Village Potential Data Collection (Podes) is carried out 3 times in 10 years. Based on the results of the 2018 Podes in West Nusa Tenggara Province, there were 1,143 administrative administration areas at the village level consisting of 995 villages, 145 villages and 3 UPTs. Podes also recorded 117 sub-districts and 10 districts / cities.

BPS calculates the Village Development Index (IPD) which shows the level of development of the village in the category of lagging, developing, and independent. The higher the IPD, the more independent the village is. The number of villages lags behind 9 (0.90 percent), villages develop 899 (90.35 percent), and villages are independent 87 (8.74 percent).

Average IPD for Transportation Dimensions 84.89, Government Implementation Dimensions 78.63, Basic Service Dimensions 67.10, Public Service Dimensions 55.02, and Dimensions of Infrastructure Conditions 51.11.
