NTB, 2018: The economy contracted 4.56 percent

The economy of NTB Province is based on the amount of GRDP at current prices based on quarter IV-2018 reaching Rp. 31.73 trillion and on the basis of constant 2010 prices reached Rp. 22.93 trillion.

The economy of the province of NTB in cumulative 2018 (c-to-c) contracted by 4.56 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth occurred in the category of health services and social activities, which amounted to 8.08 percent. While in terms of expenditure, the highest growth occurred in the components of Non-Profit Household Institutions (LNPRT), which amounted to 10.43 percent.

The economy of NTB Province in quarter IV-2018 compared to the same period in 2017 (y-on-y) contracted by 1.43 percent, with the highest contraction occurring in the Mining and Excavation category which contracted 13.40 percent. While in terms of expenditure, the Foreign Export Component contracted by 67.53 percent.

The economy of NTB Province in quarter IV-2018 compared to quarter III-2018 (q-to-q) grew by 1.81 percent, where the Mining and Excavation category grew by 50.74 percent. While in terms of expenditure in the component of government consumption expenditure which grew by 20.86 percent.
