Abstract

In May 2023, Mataram City experienced inflation of 0.20 percent, more

lower than April 2023 which experienced inflation of 0.44 percent. City Inflation

Mataram is higher than the combined figure of the two NTB cities (0.16 percent inflation) and the national one

(inflation 0.09 percent).

Inflation occurs because of an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in the index

in eleven expenditure groups. Of the eleven expenditure groups, six

group experienced inflation and five groups experienced deflation
