NTB, December 2018: Value of Exports Decreases 9.11 Percent

Abstract

The export value of West Nusa Tenggara Province in December 2018 amounted to US $ 30,793,543 which decreased by 9.11 percent compared to exports in November 2018 which was valued at US $ 33,888,924.
The largest exports in December 2018 were aimed at Japan, which amounted to 94.53 percent, followed by China at 3.36 percent and the United States 1.83 percent.
The largest type of export goods of NTB Province in December 2018 were Non-Oil / Gas Mining / Mining Goods worth US $ 28,827,966 (93.62 percent); Fish and Shrimp worth US $ 1,183,943 (3.84 percent), Jewelry / Gems amounting to US $ 299,715 (0.97 percent), Processed Meat and Fish worth US $ 282,243 (0.92 percent).
The import value in December 2018 was valued at US $ 6,336,270. This means that imports decreased by 44.46 percent compared to imports in November 2018 of US $ 11,408,821. Most of the imports came from Japan (40.52%), Singapore (22.83%), and the United States (17.63 percent).
The types of imported goods with the largest value are Rubber and Rubber Goods (41.23%), Machinery / Mechanical Aircraft (21.73%), and Mineral fuels (10.27%)
