Abstract
NTB Province's economy in Quarter II-2018 contracted by 0.83 percent. This contraction is again caused by mining business fields that are still weak in supporting the NTB economy.
NTB farmers in Quarter II-2018 experienced a surplus, with NTP of 106.72. Quarter II is the harvest period, and the supply of farmers in this quarter still rivals the surplus in quarter I-2018 which is worth 106.83.
Ramadhan raised inflation in Quarter II-2018 to 0.85 percent, slightly higher than the conditions in the first quarter of 2018 which was only 0.65 percent.
Although imports in quarter II-2018 rival imports throughout 2017, but stretching of exports is able to make NTB's trade balance return to surplus.
Air passenger arrivals flow in Quarter II-2018 was recorded at 571,517 people, this condition increased compared to Quarter I-2018 which reached 485,562 people.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) on average for the Star II-2018 star hotels has increased compared to Quarter I-2018, from 43.28 to 51.04. This increase was also experienced by non-star hotels with average TPK in the second quarter of 2018 which reached 28.94.
Remittances in Quarter II-2018 reached 354 billion rupiah, this value is higher than the first quarter of 2018 which only reached 349 billion rupiah
